about me
Hello, I’m Nkechi, a London based lifestyle coach, born and bred in the South of the city. For over a decade, I have worked across the creatives industry in: fashion, theatre, film, television and visual arts. I began in the fast-paced, high pressured world of PR and event production. Here, I thrived with intrinsic skills of; meticulous organisation, establishing and bettering systems and creative problem solving. I often found myself guiding colleagues, junior and senior, and clients into more mindful ways of working, because prevention is better than cure, that’s never truer than with burn out.
However, it wasn’t fulfilling, the effort yielded wonderful but fleeting results. So, I pivoted into community arts, tapping into the abundance of potential with groups often overlooked and undervalued. One-off workshops evolved into funded projects with arts institutions such as the Royal Court Theatre, Somerset House and media companies like Sony. I both freelanced and worked in house, building and delivering creative and professional development programmes in response to voiced voids, needs and aspirations.
Working with such a breadth of people gave me a rich insight into the things that hinder great people from accessing their full capacity in sustainable ways. This set the foundation of my lifestyle coaching practice that sees me working with innovative creatives and globally impactful tastemakers.
I approach every client as an individual who functions uniquely and seeks to set their own barometer of success, outside of societies dictation. It is paramount that I create a safe, judgement free and nurturing environment, driven by their goals.
